私はレイアウトのあれこれについて手短にお送りしたいと考えております。
１２．「ナビゲーションの配置＜後編＞」
ナビゲーションとは、ホームページのメニュー項目が配置される部分のことです。
ナビゲーションの使いやすさ・わかりやすさは、ホームページの使いやすさ・わかりやすさの要といっても良いでしょう。
今回はそんなナビゲーションについてお送りします。
◆ナビゲーション配置の具体例
さて、ここではナビゲーションの具体例を２つご案内します。
１．ショッピング系
ショッピング系は、商品数が多いほど使いやすさが重要であると同時に、 ビジュアル面も重要であり、ナビゲーションは各社手探りの状態です。最近は、ページを左・中央・右と３つに分割し、ナビゲーションを左に配置するのが主流のようです。
【 構成例 】
▽左＞検索機能、注文方法メニュー、サポートメニュー
▽中央＞上部：目玉商品紹介部分 中央：最新情報・特集 下部：商品別カテゴリ分類
▽右＞特集バナー、宣伝バナーなど
２．ポータルサイト系
ポータルサイトの代表はYahoo!です。ポータルサイトとは、あるテーマに基づき、該当テーマの情報を集めて構成するホームページのことです。
膨大な文章量なので、ビジュアル面よりも、使いやすさ、読みやすさといった文章処理に重点がおかれています。
ホームページの構成を徹底的にわかりやすく作ってあるので、訪問者を迷わせずにナビゲートする技術が非常に巧みです。迷いにくいナビゲーションという点で、非常に参考になるでしょう。
ページ構成は上、左・中央・右と分割することが多いようです。

▽中央＞新着記事、特集記事、天気予報など
▽右＞宣伝・広告
ホームページの目的によって、ナビゲーションの形は柔軟に変わるものですが、 ナビゲーション配置に業界ごとの傾向が見られるのも事実です。 みなさんも、ご自分のホームページと同業他社のホームページを見比べてみて、もっと使いやすくするにはどうすればいいのかもう一度考えてみませんか。 何か発見があるかもしれません。
